    About my career as a translator

     

    In the course of the last 14 years I have mastered the knowledge of English language while studying at the Lancaster University (UK) European Politics, Society and Culture, and later doing Master course in East European Studies at the Freie Universität in Berlin (Germany).

    Working initially on various translation projects for small businesses had helped me to get acquainted with the translation industry, quality assurance policies as well as computer assisted tools. In the course of my studies in Lancaster I also studied Spanish language which I later mastered in Spain. Gradually I have built a portfolio of satisfied clients. Recent eight years of my career as a translator have marked a significant progress. The reason behind this is the fact that I have started to be regularly engaged in translation/revision projects for several major suppliers of the European Commission Services which are responsible for often large-scale translation/revision assignments. As a result, I specialise in providing translations which generally deal with political, legal, economic/financial, scientific or technical subjects involving all areas of activity of the European Union.
